Hello, my name is Michael Aguilar (v3ga) and I am a Principal Consultant at Secureworks. I have been doing hacky types of things for a number of years and have worked in various areas(General Consulting, Medical Device Testing, DoD Consulting). I mainly read, try to learn new things or ride my bicycle.
ABSTRACT
Medical Device manufacturers charge premium dollar for medical devices, but if you look under their hood it looks like they have the cable management of me, which is 0, and appear to be built off of leftover parts from computers that existed in the 1990’s. With millions being made in profits, when is it the responsibility of the companies to want to reform and begin implementing safe practices for their device design and implementation?
